Baby spinach is characterised by its tiny and perfectly tender leaves which are smaller and more tender than the larger, mature spinach. They are used for preparing different kinds of salads. Baby spinach is nothing more than a smooth leaf spinach which has been harvested early, having a sweet taste and is sold in bags with their stems, which need not be removed as they are as just as tender.
