PLANT CHARACTERISTICS:

A species of perennial plant growing approximately 20 to 35cm tall, having long, green, slender, pointed leaves approximately 7cm long, possessing a fine aroma and sweet flavour reminiscent of vanilla and anise.

Culinary uses:

It is one of the principal culinary herbs of French cuisine and due to that fact many numerous dishes have been created using it. Its small, thin and elongated sprigs are used for the elaboration of vinegar as seasoning in salads and sauces made with wine.
