PLANT CHARACTERISTICS:

It is a woody perennial plant of approximately 80cm tall having firm leaves which are green on the upper face and whitish on the underside from which emanates a strong smell and flavour.

Culinary uses:

It is widely used in heartier stews and imbues a special flavour to rice dishes and barbecues.
