This plant grows to approximately 25cm in height and is a type of onion without bulb plant having cylindrical and hollow sword-shaped leaves of a bright green colour.
Culinary uses:
It is an excellent addition to any green or tomato salads, soups, sandwiches, boiled potatoes and numerous dressings and vinaigrettes
